Participatory Action Research

Participatory Action Research is focused on exploring the effects of social intervention and social change. Iteratively, the steps of planning, social intervention in the field, and reflection on the results of the intervention are followed. Practical relevance, problem solving and action form the basic orientation of the research, which is intended to counteract the alienation between theory and practice. Jointly available knowledge is created that can be used independently by all participating actors in the field. Research with, instead of researching about the target persons!
